Cheryl Clayton, Paralegal

Cheryl graduated with her ABA certified Paralegal Studies degree from Cerritos College and a BA in Criminal Justice from Cal State University, Fullerton. Cheryl was awarded the Soroptomist Award for her participation in helping serve disadvantaged families in the community. After graduating she worked as a legal secretary with a federal indigent attorney whose cases were out of the United States District Court. Cheryl learned to Shepardize cases and researched and summarized complex litigation issues. Cheryl discovered she loved to work in the legal field and began working in a Family Law firm.

Cheryl started working as a paralegal with the Orange County law offices of Wilkinson & Finkbeiner, LLP, in 2010 where she assists clients and attorneys throughout the legal process, oversees legal calendaring and handles the firm's website contacts. She has successfully assisted with all facets of the family law process including drafting and filing summons, petitions for dissolutions, domestic partnership and paternity, discovery, custody and support orders, motions, domestic violence restraining orders, termination of parental rights, settlement agreements, and assisting the attorney with trial preparation.

One of the most memorable experiences Cheryl has had while working for Wilkinson & Finkbeiner, LLP was preparing for a 3 day trial which had a favorable outcome after a 730 Evaluation, was found to be defective. In part the parties were able to achieve favorable visitation orders due to Cheryl’s ability to help produce excellent work product. Cheryl is enthusiastic about assisting her clients and feels strongly about having an open and professional relationship with the clients to achieve their goals.

Jennifer Rodriguez-Diaz, Paralegal

Jennifer began her legal experience in 2001. Before joining our team at Wilkinson & Finkbeiner, Jennifer was employed at other well-known family law firms in San Diego. Jennifer’s 22 years of experience have been exclusively in family law. Jennifer is a native to San Diego and holds her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and going on walks with her French Bulldog, Boba.

Breonne Halcovich, Office Administrator

Breonne joined Wilkinson & Finkbeiner in February of 2020 as an Office Administrator. She has been working in the legal field for over 5 years. Here at the office, she oversees our billing department, assists clients and supports the attorneys and paralegals with legal work and daily tasks, manages schedules, implements procedures to enhance client communications, and handles administrative duties necessary to keep the office running efficiently.


In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children; regularly attending her boys sporting events and checking out the local farmer's markets.
